Detroit Electronic Music Festival
The Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) was a successful electronic dance music showcase held in Detroit each Memorial Day weekend from 2000 to 2002. I, along with my DJ partner Keith “Mixin” Martin had the opportunity to play the Festival on Sunday. May 27, 2002 on the Free Press CPOP Stage. Visual attendance estimates for the event were rumored to be about 1.7 million people in attendance for that weekend. (though rumored to be a less).
Overall it was a great experience. Some of my best friends and DJ buddies came to show support and love. These are some of the Photos from the event and from the previous year at a special event at DEMF 2001.
